Week 2 is Starting!!!

Oh my goodness. I can't believe it is already the start of the second week of Cobham Day Camp 2016! We are having VBS (Vacation Bible School) in the mornings this week, which should be a lot of fun playing in the gym, doing crafts, and, most importantly, learning about how much Jesus loves every single one of us.

We will be going to the pool, bowling, and going to an Erie Seawolves game! Check out our parent letter (found under the Summer 2016 tab above) for details.

1 Week Down

I'm so excited and happy to say that the first week of Cobham Day Camp 2016 went super well! The kids and staff had so much fun at the various activities, especially Fun Fore All! We raced each other on go carts, got soaked on the bumper boats, and had an all around good time. We also got through the week without a single rainy day! There were a few days that looked iffy (we almost gave up completely on Thursday and went to the movies), but in the end, we were able to get to wherever we needed to be, including the pool.

First Day of Day Camp 2016!

Hello, all!

I can hardly believe that it is already the first day of Cobham Day Camp 2016! This past year sure has flown by.

We have so many super fun things planned this year. This week, we are hitting the pool today, Thursday, AND Friday! So much fun! Tuesday will be skating at the Russel Roller Rink. And Wednesday is our long trip day this week. We are going Cranberry Township, near Pittsburgh, to Fun Fore All (AKA Ballocity). There are go-carts, bumper boats, and mini-golf, to name a few of the things we will be doing. 

The staff here are so excited to start this year with the kids. It's going to be so much fun!

CHANGE OF PLANS TOMORROW

Tomorrow, Tuesday, we will not be going to Chapman's Dam because it is closed and there is the possibility of thunder storms. Instead, the oldest and middle groups will be leaving the building at 10:00am to go to the library for a special butterfly presentation. After that, they will be going to McDonalds, so please send money if your child would like to buy their lunch there or if they would like to buy a treat. After lunch, they will be spending the rest of the afternoon at the building. 

The little group will be at the building for the entire day with lots of fun activities planned. 

RELEASE FORM REMINDER!!!

Remember to turn in your child's release form for Sky Zone! Go online to the Buffalo Sky Zone's website, fill out the online waiver, and print out the email confirmation to turn in to us. Have these turned in by Tuesday at the latest! If we do not have your child's release form BY TUESDAY, they will not be going on the trip!
It's going to be a ton of fun! They won't want to miss it!

CHANGE IN PLANS

Just a reminder that we are going to the YMCA this morning for some fun activities put on by the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA. We will be leaving at 8:30, loading the bus at 8:15. Please have your child here before then. At noon, we will be leaving the YMCA and going to the Brokenstraw Valley Pool. We will be back to the building by 4.

REMINDER

Just a reminder, we need release forms for your child to be able to climb the rock wall tomorrow!
