Hi, everyone! Welcome to Cobham Day Camp 2015! I can't believe we are already ready to start day camp for another year! It feels like Day Camp 2014 just ended. But we have a lot of exciting things planned for this year, such as these trips, and it should be a lot of fun!
So, since this whole blog thing is new for Cobham (yay for finally joining the 21st century, technological world!), I thought I would give you a quick overview of what you can expect from this blog. It will be used for a lot of different things. First, announcements will be posted here. So, if there is ever a change in plans, you can find out first hand here. This also includes anytime we are running late getting home from a long trip. Please check here before going to the building to pick up your child. That way, you will know before you get there that we ran into construction and are going to be an hour late. I will also post any documents you may need, such as the overview of the program with all of the rules and regulations and all that fun stuff. Speaking of which, you can find that at this link. Cool, right? You will also have access to the weekly parent letters this way. That way, if you misplace yours before you have a chance to read it (hint, hint... please please please read them), you no longer have an excuse. You can just follow the links provided here or on our Facebook page.
Week 1 Parent Letter can be found HERE :)
Well, now that we have all of that covered, we can move on to the fun stuff. The main thing this blog will be used for is as an actual blog. I know. Crazy, right? I'll be posting stories, funny things that happen, etc. It should be a good time. Feel free to comment and let me know how I'm doing!
I think that should be about it for tonight... Except to say, I hope to see you all at the parent meeting tomorrow! Or if you didn't know about this before then, which most of you probably didn't, and you're reading this after the meeting, it was good to see you! And I hope you're as excited as I am for this summer! It's going to be great!
